1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how RGW Content Assistant (“the Application”, “we”, “us”) processes information in connection with its Pinterest API integration.

RGW Content Assistant is an AI-assisted content creation and publishing tool used to prepare and publish original content to an authorized Pinterest Business Account.

2. Pinterest API Integration

The Application connects to Pinterest through the official Pinterest API.

Pinterest account access is authorized through Pinterest-supported authentication mechanisms and access tokens.

The Application does not request, collect, or store Pinterest account passwords or Pinterest session cookies.

3. Information We May Process

The Application may process only the information reasonably necessary to provide the requested Pinterest functionality, including:

• Pinterest board names and identifiers;
• information required to select a destination board;
• Pin-related information such as title, description, destination link and media;
• Pinterest API responses required to confirm whether a requested publishing operation was successful;
• authentication tokens required to maintain an authorized Pinterest connection.

4. How Information Is Used

Pinterest-related information is used only to provide the functionality explicitly requested by the authorized user, including:

• retrieving available Pinterest boards;
• selecting a destination board;
• creating and publishing an original Pin;
• confirming the success or failure of a publishing request;
• maintaining the security and technical operation of the Pinterest integration.

Pinterest information is not sold or shared for advertising profiling or competitor research.

5. User Confirmation and Publishing

The Application does not publish a Pin without explicit user approval.

Before publication, the authorized user reviews the proposed image, title, description and destination board.

A Pinterest API publishing request is sent only after the user explicitly confirms publication of that specific Pin.

The Application does not perform unattended, background or bulk publishing without explicit user approval.

6. Artificial Intelligence

The Application may use generative AI services to assist the user in creating original images, titles, descriptions and other content.

Pinterest API data, Pinterest Materials and information obtained from Pinterest are not used to train, fine-tune or improve artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.

7. Authentication and Access Tokens

Pinterest authentication credentials and access tokens are treated as confidential information.

Access tokens are stored securely by the backend system and are not exposed publicly or included in the AI assistant's prompts or conversation history.

The Application does not store Pinterest account passwords.

8. Data Retention

Pinterest API information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the requested functionality, maintain the authorized connection, comply with applicable legal obligations, or protect the security of the Application.

Information that is no longer required is deleted or securely disposed of where reasonably possible.

9. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss or destruction.

API credentials, application secrets and access tokens are not intentionally exposed to the public.

10. Third-Party Services

The Application may interact with third-party services required to provide its functionality, including Pinterest and artificial intelligence service providers.

Use of Pinterest services is also subject to Pinterest's applicable terms and privacy policies.

11. Revoking Pinterest Access

An authorized user may revoke the Application's access to Pinterest through the relevant Pinterest account or application settings where available.

The user may also contact us to request that the application's stored Pinterest authorization information be removed.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the Application, legal requirements or third-party integrations.

The updated version will be published on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
